Solaris Health System

Meeting the Health Care Needs
of Our Community

Solaris Health System is a community-owned, not-for-profit, health system serving the residents of Central New Jersey. The System was created in 1997 through the consolidation of Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center and JFK Medical Center. Strong ties to the local community, well-established clinical expertise, highly committed and skilled employees, a dedication to patient safety and quality, and a shared medical staff serving the local region - are among the key factors that brought the two organizations together.

In order to provide high quality, cost effective services, Solaris is structured to offer a full continuum of care: preventive, general acute and sub-acute, rehabilitative, convalescent and extended care, and hospice and home health care. Special support services are also available, such as diagnostic imaging, geriatric programs, complimentary medicine, and community health and fitness. The major affiliates of Solaris Health System include:
  • Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center
  • JFK Medical Center
  • JFK Hartwyck Nursing, Convalescent and Rehabilitation Centers
