It's sound advice – proper sleep is essential to health and well being. But for more than 40 million Americans who suffer from sleep disorders, the goal may seem to be the impossible dream.
Fortunately, sleep disorders can be managed and treated at the JFK - Muhlenberg Campus of the Center for Sleep Disorders of the New Jersey Neuroscience Institute. The two-bed sleep laboratory provides a comfortable and secure environment for adult patients, offering progressive diagnostic services and treatment for a full range of sleep disorders – including, snoring, sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy. Our board-certified sleep physicians, work closely with an extensive multidisciplinary team of Pulmonologists, Neurologists, Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose and Throat), Psychologists, Oral Surgeons, among others. The team works closely with the patient to design a customized treatment plan to achieve the best outcome. Additionally, the Sleep Center’s state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment monitors brain, heart, respiratory and muscle activity during sleep, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation.
This equipment, combined with our physicians' knowledge of the latest advances in sleep-related diagnostics and treatment, enables us to provide the best possible care. Treatment includes CPAP Therapy, Light Therapy, Pharmacologic Therapy, Behavioral Modifications, Surgical Recommendation and Dental Services.
