Colon Rectal Surgery/Urology
(908) 668-3000Patients with illnesses or injuries related to colon rectal or urological problems are placed on a dedicated unit where physicians and nurses who specialize in these disorders provide the most modern diagnostic tests and treatments. Both medical and surgical management is available for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis; evaluation and management of defecation disorders and genetically transmitted colon rectal disease also is offered.
Minimally invasive surgical techniques include transanal surgery and laparoscopic colon and rectal surgery.
For more than a quarter of a century, the hospital's Colon Rectal Surgery Division has offered a nationally recognized residency teaching program for surgeons specializing in colon rectal disorders.
