Jessica M. Aleman, RD is our Outpatient Dietitian. Her position is unique at the Solaris Health System. Jessica provides individualized one-to-one counseling to patients at the Wound Care Center, Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab, Home Care, and privately referred patients. In addition, community residents can access nutrition counseling and weight loss services on an outpatient basis with a physician prescription detailing the patient’s diagnosis, ICD-9 Code and number of visits allowed per calendar year. A referral and/or preauthorization is only needed if required by their individual insurance company. Patient’s wishing to schedule an appointment should have these items in place and call the listed number for an individual appointment. Weight loss classes for the general public are held several times throughout the year and anyone interested may contact the number listed to inquire.
